These will grow to be lovely fluffy chunky puppies, as no expense is spared on their upbringing. They are weaned on Multimilk that is designed for weaning young animals, puppies, kittens, lambs, calves, foals and piglets, and is fortified with lots of necessary vitamins and nutrients that are so good for baby animals. They will also be weaned on James Wellbeloved dry kibble and a free 2 kilo sack of James Wellbeloved is given in the puppy pack along with a copy of the puppy training book 'Ain't Misbehavin' and a dam scented comfort rug.
Socialisation takes place on the farm where your puppy will continually meet new people and mix with over 30 well fed cats many Border Collie dogs, and hear farm machinery sounds, loud noises, tractors, and power tools, like chainsaws. grass mowers etc.
A £100 non refundable deposit secures your puppy upon viewing. Photograph reservations can be made so long as you can visit within 2 weeks of enquiry to view and pay your deposit.
Please read & agree to my puppy contract at my web site (Craileeau Border Collies) before enquiring of a puppy and while there look up their parents Janna and Simba to see photographs and to read about their personalities. A copy of this contract is provided for signing upon collection of the puppy.
The puppies will be snuggly, chunky and fluffy by eight weeks of age, they have been vet checked and will be microchipped and insured but not vaccinated. My web site explains in detail why vaccines are not given but basically it is due to the incompatability of my vet's vaccines and the vaccines of vets out of my local area. It is in the puppy's best interests not to be over immunised by a new vet insisting that the whole course be restarted with his/her vaccine.
Frequent bonding visits to see your puppy are encouraged and you may stay as long as you can with your puppy playing out in the pretty meadows. If you cannot visit often then I ask will ask that you take an old tee shirt or a flannel and every member of the family sleeps with it for one night, then send it to me to give to your chosen puppy. These scent cloths work so well and even if someone has never been able to see their puppy before collection the puppy will recognise them by its sleeping with the scent cloth they have provided. I have seen delighted puppies tails almost wag off when they recognise the person by their scent..
Email is best, or phone me to enquire of these puppies. Reservations from photographs can be made but no sale is definite until viewing takes place and a deposit is paid. Do not text as from here phone calls go through Freeads number and not via my own mobile number. You can find my contact details at my web site.
Call or email to arrange a visit or for further details. Always better to email with a phone number included then I can call you. However, my phone is a compulsory caller witheld number, so please be aware of this when no number comes up.
Come and enjoy my dogs. Stay as long as you can. I have 15 Border Collies and they LOVE visitors!
Puppies are treated for fleas with spot on Advocate or with Nexgard, and are treated for worms with Panacur and Milbemax.
Thank you for reading, I appreciate it is a long advert but I wanted everyone to be well informed. I have 43 years experience in owning and breeding Border Collies and am happy to give advice even if it isn't one of my puppies that you are buying.
Finally, all new owners and interested persons of my puppies are invited to join my Craileeau Border Collies FB group where people can swap experiences, photographs and arrange reunions of sibling puppies. This is a well supported group with over 100 members. Thus after care is provided plus support, especially for first time owners of a Border Collie puppy.
I have a younger litter of male red tri & chocolate puppies - please enquire of these.
Advice about buying a pet
There are already thousands of dogs in shelters that would make loving companions - consider adopting a rescue dog.
NEVER buy from anyone willing to deliver a dog by courier & report it to our team.
Visit the pups & their mum. Take our 'Visiting a Puppy' checklist with you.
HELP STOP PUPPY FARMING: If any of the criteria on the checklist is not met or something doesn't feel right, look elsewhere for your new canine companion.
