The
English Springer Spaniel is a medium size dog with with long
ears and a waggling tail. The English Springer Spaniel has a medium
length flat or wavy coat which is commonly black and white, liver and
white or blue. These are beautiful looking dogs who have those real
puppy dog eyes.

English Springer Spaniel has a lovely temperament. They are gentle,
friendly and sociable. English Springer Spaniels are great family dogs
as they are great with kids. They are extemely playful and energetic
dogs so provide hours of entertainment. English Springer Spaniels are
affectionate and sincere dogs who love cuddles and attention. They love
to get wet and muddy and play outdoors. English Springer Spaniels
require firm training in adolescence as may become destructive if left
alone too long and can become aggressive toward dogs of the same
sex.

English Springer Spaniel requires a high amount of regular exercise.
They need long daily walks and time off leash to roam. Spaniels love to
retrieve sticks and balls and can play for hours. They are best left
outside if you are away from home for any length of time due to their
mischevious nature!

The
English Springer Spaniel usually lives an illness free life but there
are some illnesses associted with this breed. They can suffer from
various eye infections and ear infections which are easily treated if
spotted early. English Springers can also suffer from elbow displacment
which is a health issue associated with almost all dog breeds.
