The
Jack Russell is a small,
compact terrier with a muscular neck and round paws. They have a smooth
short coat
which comes in predominantly white, with tan, brown or black markings.
They are small dogs with small folded ears which make this a distinct
breed.

Jack
Russells are a happy, affectionate breed of dog. They enjoy playtime,
games, climbing and chasing and have a lot of energy. The Jack Russell
is a fearless dog and can be aggressive
to other dogs and the aggression usually ends in one party injured. The
Jack Russell should never be trusted with
small animals ot children and should have a large degree of training by
an experienced trainer.
Jack Russell Exercise
The
Jack Russell needs a lot of exercise during the day. These dogs require
two walks a day and must be let off the leash to run around. Jack
Russell's crave attention and should only be taken on by someone who
has the time to tend to it. Jack Russells are not reccomended for
working owners.
Jack
Russell Health
The
Jack Russell is a pure breed and has very few health issues. There are
some inherited health issues one of which being cataracts. Cataracts
can be caught early if you regularly check your dogs eyes. The Jack
Russell can also suffer from dislocated kneecaps (this is true of
almost all small breeds though) which can cause the dog to limp and can
require surgery.
