thick fluffy coat which comes in all colours, sometimes with markings.
Siberian Husky Dogs can have blue, brown or amber eyes or be
bi-eyed where they have two different coloured eyes. They have snow
shoe feet which of course is to help the husky's in bleak conditions in
winter. Siberian Husky's have large, pointed ears and a long fluffy
tail.
Siberian
Husky Temperament
The
Siberian Husky is a gentle, playful, breed of dog. They can
also be very mischievous. Husky's are renowned for being
extremely loyal to family, sociable, and loving. Siberian Husky dogs
are highly energetic and love to be walked and played with. They are
friendly to strangers although does get lonely if left alone for long
periods so Husky's are not advised for working families and are often
best as a pair. They are extremely intelligent dogs and very easy to
train.
Siberian Husky Exercise
The
Siberian Husky needs a daily brisk jog as they love to run
around and are very energetic dogs. If you're thinking of buying a
Siberian Husky you are best to keep them in a large garden where they
can play although you should have a high fence as they like
to escape! In the summer it is best to not exercise Huskys as much as
they tend to overheat and prefer the cooler climates.
Siberian
Husky Health
The
Siberian Husky is very lucky and endures very few health problems. The
only common health issues are genetic and are eye disease and hip
dysplasia although these can sometimes be prevented through proper care
and attention. Hip dysplasia usually occurs within the first 2 years of
a Siberian Husky's life and can cause pain and arthritis. Siberian
huskys are, of the 114 dog breeds affected by this condition, one of
the least at risk.
