Whippet breed description:


The Whippet is small, similar looking to a greyhound, graceful and slender. It's short coat comes in brindle, black, fawn, red, tigered white, slate blue or mixed. The Whippet is distinctive through it's long, thin muzzle and thin tai. l

Whippet Temperament:
The Whippet is intelligent, lively and friendly and a great companion. They are very sensitive dogs so need careful training. Whippets are good with children but are not to be trusted with small pets. Wippets are very fast runner and make good watch dogs.

Whippet Exercise needs:
The Whippet needs regular opportunities to run free as well as a daily brisk walk. You should take care when Whippets are off leash when other small animals are around as likes to chase. Whippets are sensitive to cold and may need a coat in winter, ok in an apartment if well exercised.
