Keep your dog looking good by keeping up with his grooming. There are only a few things you need to do and they’re not all daily you will be pleased to hear. Pets can take up a long time but this shouldn’t.

    Brush

Try and brush your dog regularly to keep him looking good. This will not only make your dogs hair look in better condition, but it will also help remove any hair that would usually fall out around the house. When transitioning into winter, it will help stimulate the new hair growth and when moving from winter to summer, it will remove the hair that your dog is shedding preparing for the warmer months.

    Wash

Bath time is never a favourite but it must be done. Dogs get very dirty in the mud and animal faeces, for example from foxes, left in your back garden so sometimes you will need to wash your dog. You don’t need to do this every week, but a couple of times a month is advice. Read more here.

    Claws

Managing your dog’s nails is important because it can cause problems if you do not. The longer they get, the harder it will be to get them shorter again. It also may cause discomfort to your dog and be dangerous for them. Read more here.

    Cut

This is definitely an optional choice. It is not necessary to cut your dog’s hair however it does have some advantages; it will be easier to keep your dog clean and there will be less hair around the house from fallout. If you want to find out how you could do it yourself, read more here.
