How to take care of Labrador?Friday 12 August 2011
Labradors are kind and outgoing dogs that get along well with other dogs and animals. Although this breed might result quite stubborn and inquisitive sometimes, with a training such behaviours can be easily provided. You can find more information in our breeds here. To take care of Labrador dogs it should be taken into consideration that these dogs have good appetite and might suffer easily from obesity. One shouldn’t be surprised whether Labrador seems to be hungry all the times. The best thing is to apply proper diet (the information can be provided by the vet) and daily exercise. Labrador dogs are loving pets and are great with children; they love playing and spending time with people. Labradors are territorial dogs (especially female Labradors) and might bark at anything on the street, sidewalk etc; however, they do not tend to be noisy dogs. Labradors have great sense of smell so it might be good to let your dog sniff things so they keep busy and use all their senses. To keep your dog Labrador happy you should chance its kibble brand every time your pooch finishes a bag. Never say no to cuddle your Labrador as those dogs just need it. Labradors also like toys and they enjoy eating peanut butter, meat and cheese (easy to gain weight apart from their appetite!) To read more articles click here.
