The majority of dogs will be extremely happy when coming back home so don’t be surprised if they demand all your time and attention at the beginning in order to compensate a time spent in a boarding kennel. However, there are many cases when your dog feel depressed when you leave him in the kennel and very often when coming back home it only sleeps and is not eager to do anything. This feeling is normal as feeling depressed could be due to a change of environment. This dog health problem of depression can lead to him stopping to eat or drinking. As your dog returns home from the kennel, he is likely to feel better and his depression will start to dissipate.
