'I know... I need to stop': Miranda Lambert rescues yet another puppy... bringing her total dog count to 21
Country singer Miranda Lambert's pooch rescue habit is getting out of control.
The chart-topping star has tweeted a photo of the latest addition to her canine collection - a tan puppy with a white nose and paws called Emmy Lou.
This brings the total number of dogs in the singer's household to a staggering 21.
And that's in addition to a number of cats and horses taken in by the 28-year-old Texan and her country singer husband Blake Shelton, 35, a judge on The Voice.
The blonde chanteuse said in her tweet: 'I know I need to stop. But she was in a ditch!'
The newest addition to the Lambert-Shelton brood comes just weeks after the adoption of a black puppy they named Loretta, presumably after country music icon Loretta Lynn.
Lambert has emerged as one of country music's true darlings, winning Album of the Year for her record Revolution at the prestigious Country Music Awards in late 2010.
The singer's then fiancé Blake Shelton was simultaneously named male vocalist of the year, thrusting the power couple well and truly into the spotlight.
The music artists married last May after five years of dating, exchanging vows on a Texas ranch with their beloved dogs.
