Alexander McQueen leaves £50,000 for dogs
Fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who killed himself at his home in Mayfair in 2010, has left £50,000 in his £16m will for his dogs.
Alexander McQueen, 40, made sure that his dogs can be pampered for the rest of their lives. The fashion designer gave also £100,000 for four charities, including Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in south London, The Blue Cross animal welfare charity in Burford, Oxfordshire, London Buddhist Centre and the Terrence Higgins Trust.
McQueen killed himself after battling depression, stress and the grief of his mother's death.
