Dog put down because of the vet bill
A female Staffordshire crossbreed dog had to be euthanized after police found the canine abandoned in Queen Edith’s ward, Cambridge, with a huge lump dragging along the ground.
After being seen by the vet, it turned out that the dog had a tumour the size of a melon and had been suffering several weeks of neglect. Unfortunately, the dog had to be put down. The Staffordshire’s owner was found and pleaded guilty at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.
