Dog put down for mauling cat
Staffordshire bull terrier might be put down for attacking a cat in Dundee neighbourhood in February this year.
C-Jay, a three-year-old dog, attacked the neighbour’s cat in February this year and broke the cat’s leg, jaw and sternum. Last week, Dundee’s Justice of the Peace Court ordered the dog to be put down and the canine’s owner is appealing for a reprieve for her dog. Until it is heard, the dog is held in isolation at one of the kennels in Dundee and its owners are banned from visiting the dog.
