Dog trapped in mud for three days is finally rescued
Pluto, an Australian Sheppard, was rescued by two police officers in Willistown Township, Pennsylvania, U.S.A, after they were called by his concerned owner.
The dog had been missing for three days adn was found struggling for his life in a muddy stream.
Sergeant Mike Martin and officer Mike Kushner dived into the mud and and succesfully managed to pull the 13-year-old out.
His owner told the officers ho relieved he was: 'We feel very fortunate indeed that you are there and always quick to respond, skilled and compassionate.’
The dog is now doing well after receiving medical attention.
