A free dog microchipping event will take place on 14th and 15th June between 12.30pm and 5.30pm in the Safer Lewisham Partnership bus outside the main entrance to Lewisham shopping centre.

Lewisham Council, in conjunction with the south east London branch of the RSPCA, and Battersea Dogs & Cats home, will be providing the service for dogs owned by Lewisham residents.

Microchipping is a safe, permanent form of ID that can help reunite owners with their dogs should they become lost or stolen.

Anyone wishing to attend should take with them proof of ownership and a muzzle if they have one. No booking is required. Remember that dogs must be kept on a leads at all times.
