Help Find Toby the Border Terrier!

    NewsMonday 27 October 2014

A campaign is underway to find Toby, a border terrier who went missing on the 10th October.

Toby's owner Louise Marsh and her family are devastated at the loss of their precious pooch, who was last seen being put into a silver estate car over two weeks ago. However, the Marsh family have not given up hope and are using every channel possible to spread the word so they can be reunited with Toby.

It is believed that on the 10th of October, Toby slipped out of the front door whilst Louise went to get something from her car. As soon he she became aware that he was missing she went door-to-door around the neighbourhood asking if anyone had seen him. She soon met a boy who said he had caught Toby and put him on a lead - asking a few houses whether anyone knew who Toby belonged to. It was then that he was approached by a white man between 40 and 50 years old and a shaved head, who offered to drive Toby to the vets so he could be scanned for a microchip. After the boy handed Toby over in good faith, he placed the dog in a silver estate car and Toby has not been seen since. There was also a young boy riding in the front of the estate car. See the below video for a re-enactment for the day Toby was dog-napped:

Missing Toby in particular is Louise's six month old daughter, Pippa, and their other dog; a three-legged rescue (both pictured below).

Louise elaborated: 'Toby has been fixated on the baby since she arrived and was never far from her side,’ says Louise. When he heard her crying he would run to both me and my husband to double check we were coming. Now Peggy is not eating and refuses to go out. Toby has been a companion for Peggy and they always slept together curled up in a ball.'

PLEASE HELP FIND TOBY: Do you live in Surrey or the surrounding areas? Have you seen or heard of a man offering to sell an adult border terrier?
