Injuries of dog used as bait in Nottingham 'sickening'
A dog that was tied up in a Nottingham park and attacked has been recovering at a rescue centre.
The two-year-old bull mastiff was believed to have been used as bait by people in St Ann's, who were training other dogs to fight.
The injuries were described as "sickening", by dog control officer Zoe Bestall.
Babbington Rescue Centre is now looking to rehome the dog.
