Missing dogs should be reported to the police
Disappearing dogs in the UK are very common matter especially during the summer. RSPCA has applied to all pet owners to always contact the police in such cases for a record and investigation, according to today’s Dorset Echo.
People very often prefer to think that their dogs or cats have been stolen rather than think that they simply ran away of their homes. However, some pedigree dogs (especially females) are stolen for breeding. Also many pets, both cats and dogs, are stolen and their owners are asked to pay a ransom to get it back.
Important: remember to make sure that your dog or cat is micro-chipped so it can be easily identified if gets lost.
