More stray dogs in Oxfordshire
The animal rescue charities from Oxfordshire have reported an increase in stray and abandoned dogs, cats and other small pets.
Blue Cross in Burford and the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary in Stadhampton have agreed that the main cause of this situation is bad economic situation and lack of perspective for the future. The UK’s largest dog welfare charity, the Dog Trust, has informed that over 300 stray dogs are picked up every day around the country.
Employees of the animal charities are applying to anyone who is not able to take care of their pets to contact the animal rescue organization in order to prevent the animal suffering in case of abandoned ill dogs or cats.
