New Guide Dogs breeding centre in Warwickshire
The new Guide Dogs breeding centre was officially opened in Warwickshire last week. The centre is going to produce an extra 400 puppies a year for the Guide Dogs charity.
HRH Princess Alexandra visited the centre at Bishops Tachbrook, near Leamington Spa, to meet volunteers and staff of Guide Dogs on Tuesday. The opening of the new breeding centre coincided with the 80th anniversary of the charity. Guide Dogs was qualified in October 1931. The four dogs and their partners qualified in Wallasey on the Wirral.
