    Police investigating dog deaths in Cross Hills

    The RSPCA and police from Cross Hills are appealing to dog walkers to take care after their dogs after several pets fell ill and died after being walked along the same footpath.

    The feral footpath, off Station Road, is a popular area for dog owners. Since 20th May, already 13 dogs have died. The dogs were suffering from similar symptoms.

    Police and the RSPCA are invastigating the case and seraching for dog poisoner. Those with information should contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 or North Yorkshire police on 0845 60 60 24 7 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
