Shelter Dog Sunday - Boycey
Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Boycey, a mature chappy who absolutely loves people and would make a great new family member.
Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including Boycey, a cheeky boy who loves being around people and will appreciate a forever home in your company.
Age: 11 Years 7 Months
Breed: Patterdale Terrier
Boycey is a cheeky chappy who loves being around people. He's a mature boy who knows what he wants but will always appreciate your company. He would love to go on long walks with you, enjoying the countryside.
He likes other dogs, but at his age would only like to live with a calm companion, rather than a playmate.
Because of his love of people, Boycey doesn't enjoy spending time alone. He will need his new family to work through his insecurities with him, and provide a regular routine.
If you think you can offer Kaykay a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
