Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Fran, a friendly girl with a sensitive nature in need of a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including Fran, a friendly girl with a sensitive nature in need of a loving familly.

    Name: Fran

    Age: 1 Years 1 Month

    Breed: Shar-Pei

    Sex: Female

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 340730

Fran is a friendly girl with a sensitive nature. She is looking for a new home with owners who allow her time to settle in home and have the time to dedicate to her socialising and care.

She can be a little worried by men initially, so will need understanding new owners.

She knows Sit, Stay and Down and shows the potential to learn a lot more.

Fran is an affectionate and fun girl who could make a rewarding and loving companion to her new home once settled.

If you think you can offer Fran a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Fran, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
