Shelter Dog Sunday - Luka
Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Luka, a playful and very young Husky boy ready to receive lots of love.
Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including including Luka, a beautiful youngster looking for a forever loving home.
Breed: Siberian Husky
Age: 11 months
Luka is a bundle of fun who is very typical of his breed. He is a beautiful boy who would suit any Husky enthusiast.
Luka is very sociable and enjoys regular play times with other dogs. New owners will need to be able to keep up his dog socialising so that he can grow into a well-rounded adult.
However, Luka will need to be the only pet in the home so he is able to excel at his training.
Luka loves his food and this will be a great tool for his ongoing training, and if food wasn't enough, Luka loves nothing more than running around playing fetch with a tennis ball.
If you think you can offer Luka a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
