    Shelter Dog Sunday - Nala

NewsShelter Dog SundaySunday 01 March 2015

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spolight is on Nala - a gorgeous Staffie looking for a home at Battersea!

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including the beautiful Nala - a super friendly lady currently residing at Battersea's London centre.

Nala is a fun girl who is full of beans. She is friendly and energetic, and a lot of fun to be with! She is looking for owners who enjoy training and socialising; she loves other and so may get frustrated if she is not allowed to have playtime with doggy friends. Nala will make a wonderful companion for owners who can provide an active lifestyle.

Potential adopters need not be to put off by Nala's breed. The image problem Staffies have unfairly anquired means that shelters across the UK are overflowing with the breed, despite their ability to be loving and gentle companions (which Nala is a perfect example of). Battersea are running a campagin to prove that Staffies are Softer Than You Think - so don't hesitate to head over to their website and find out more about this sweet and affectionate breed.

If you could offer Nala an active home, please contact Battersea & Cats home on 08435 094444 or contact them by email on at [email protected]. Nala's reference number is 315224.
