Shelter Dog Sunday - Tyler
Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Tyler, a sensitive Staffie looking for a forever home.
Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats a year, including including Tyler, an older lad looking for a quiet and relaxing household.
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Age: 8 years 6 months
Meet Tyler! Tyler is a sensitive chap who sometimes finds the big world a little scary.
He is very sensitive to his surroundings and is looking for a quiet, mature household away from the busy city where he can relax in comfort.
Tyler is a real softie at heart, and after a nice run he will settle in for a cuddle with his favourite people.
He gets on well with other dogs and children, although would prefer not to live with a cat.
Could this boy fill the Staffie shaped hole in your heart? If you think you can give Tyler the home he truly deserves, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
