    Shelter Dog Sunday - Whiskey

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 22 January 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Whiskey, a real character now looking for her forever home.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including Whiskey a girl who, once she gets to know you, will become your friend for life.

    Name: Whiskey

    Sex: Female

    Breed: Staffordshire bull terrier

    Age: 8 Years 7 Months

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 342524

Madame Whiskey is a real character and is looking for her new forever home. Once she gets to know you she will charm her way into your heart with her winning smile.

Whiskey would prefer to be the only dog in the household, with more than one carer to help build up her confidence around new people.

New owners will have to have some experience socialising dogs, as she will pick and choose her friends. Once she has your trust, Whiskey will be your friend for life.

If you think you can offer Whiskey a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
