Staffies - They're Softer Than You Think
Staffies are frequently (and wrongly) subject to an image which completely misrepresents their naturally kind, gentle personalities. Battersea Dogs Home, which serves as the backdrop of Paul O'Gradys For The Love of Dogs, are campaigning to stand up for Staffies and show that in the right home they can make wonderful companions.
With their large square jaws and bad reputation as a fighting breed, many people assume Staffordshire Bull Terriers to be an inappropaite choice as a family pet. But Battersea's 'Softer Than You Think' campaign is encouraging people to look beyond the stereotype and see the potential a Staffie has as a gentle loving addition to any home. If you're not convinced, be sure to check out the Staffie videos on their Youtube Channel. No mean mutts there, just gentle creatures with lots of love to give, waiting for their forever home!
Got a cat? No problem! Like any breed of dog, some Staffies get on just handsomely with their feline counterparts, and just in case you don't believe us:
Now you've seen how gentle these furry fellas can be, why not head over to Battersea's website where you can get involved with the cause, get information on the breed and see their Super Staffies that have gone the extra mile to prove just how soft they can be.
