Two dogs dumped at car boot sale
A newborn puppy and its mother are looking for a new home after being dumped at a car boot sale in Blackbird Leys on Sunday, 30th October.
The 5-week-old Jack Russell was among four or five puppies which were being sold on Sunday, October 30 in Blackbird Leys. The owner, who had already sold the other puppies, was asked by the police to stop selling the dogs. Few hours later, the seller dumped the mother and the remaining puppy at the site. Fortunately, they were picked up by an employee from Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Jack Russell Rescue, based in Weston-on-the-Green, near Bicester.
The dogs will now both be vaccinated and microchipped before they leave the centre. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Jack Russell Rescue Charity has been open for 17 years and has rehomed more than 600 dogs. Anyone who can help to cover the running costs or give the dogs new home is asked to contact the organization on 07967 240839.
