Woman Banned From Keeping Pets
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier had to be put to sleep after his owner, aged 26, hadn’t got him the necessary treatment.
The dog, Billy, suffered from severe and painful skin complaint. When the Scottish SPCA found it, the veterinary treatment was applied. However, it was already too late for the pet to improve its conditions and it had to be put to sleep.
Billy’s owner from Hamilton was pled guilty for failing to get treatment for her dog. She was given 100 hours community service and the lifetime ban from keeping animals.
