    Britain's biggest wine merchants' wife fined

    A passer by needed plastic surgery after she had been attacked by rare giant dogs. The canine belonged to the wealthy wife of one of Britain's biggest wine merchants.

    The walker needed plastic surgery after the attack of the rare giant dog. The woman, aged 47, was knocked to the ground and she was bitten severly on the head, nose, lips, ears and arms by Anatolian shepherd dog. The woman was walking her dog, a German shepherd-cross, that was killed in the attack. According to the Telegraph the attack lasted few minutes. The woman was forced to spend four days in hospital and had to undergo plastic surgery on her face.

    The owner of the giant dog was fined £10,000 and ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work after being found guilty of being the owner of a dog causing injury while "dangerously" out of control.
