You Won't Believe This Rescued Husky's Transformation...
One year ago Miley was found nearly dead on a pile on rubbish with a severe case of mange. Now she's a different dog, and just goes to show how much of a difference a loving home makes to any canine...
Miley is a friendly dog - full of energy with a fluffy white coat. As she happily sits on her owner's bed, you would never think that just one year ago she was homeless, malnourished and nearly dead with red raw skin as a result of mange.
But her life was changed when Eldad Hagar, who founded rescue group Hope For Paws in Los Angeles, approached her. Amazing footage (below) captures the moment that the group met Miley for the first time - reassuring her that everything was going to be okay.
Hagar recalls that Miley was keen to be saved once she had got used to the rescuers, 'I mean it's interesting. She actually like, jumped into my car. She was so ready to be rescued. Many people don't realize how exhausting it is to be a stray dog. You're always on alert because you don't know who is gonna come behind you or who is gonna attack you or who is going to be not kind to you.'
Four months after her rescue, Miley was adopted. Now we get to see her one year on in her new loving home - and the difference is quite remarkable.
Hagar, pleased with Miley's turnaround, reflected, 'To see Miley transforming from that dog who dying on a pile of trash, and now living in one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen in my life is so amazing to me. It was very rewarding to see her so happy.'
