    Once a landmark in this part of town, as the Coleherne, it was a famous (or infamous, perhaps) gay pub. So famous, we suspect it was the pub Armisted Maupin used in his Tales of the City series. But that's all gone now and a new clientele has moved into the extensively gastrofied pub.
