    Dog kennel or dog hotel?

Articlegeneral dog adviceTuesday 31 May 2011

The main difference between dog kennels and dog hotels is that in a hotel your dog is more likely to have its own room weather in a kennel you have partially open pens. The dog hotels have usually fewer dogs as they tend to have from 5 to 15 rooms. Therefore you might expect more personal service than in the kennels. In dog hotels you are also allowed to have special requests and the atmosphere is closer to a home environment than in a boarding kennel. However, some boarding facilities also provide a pleasant atmosphere by placing fewer kennels and so pets might receive more attention.

We recommend you choose suitable facilities with fewer kennels whenever possible.
