What food do they give to my dog in a kennel?

Articlegeneral dog adviceTuesday 31 May 2011

If your dog does not have any special diet requirements or food intolerances, it will be given basic food provided by a boarding kennel. In most of the cases the food is included in the price and the boarders are fed twice a day. Puppies sometimes are given a special puppy formula food and also have extra meal in the lunch time to meet their growth and needs.

However, if your dog is used to eating the same food all the time, has a prescription diet or food intolerances, you should bring your own foodl (don’t forget to label it!) – enough for the visit and a little extra just in case.

Bare in mind that an additional charge may be made if cooking is involved.
