Dog found with teeth sawed off

    NewsAnimal CrueltyTuesday 12 July 2011

Cowboy, a pit bull dog, was found last Friday on Sandy Run Road in Gaston (USA) with bite wounds all over its body, underweight and dehydrated. When opening the dog’s mouth the vets were shocked to discover that the dog’s teeth had been broker or sawed off, according to

The lack of teeth is indicating that the dog had been used as a bait dog to train other young pit bulls for dog fighting. Underweight and dehydrated with a tennis ball in its mouth, the dog wasn’t paying any attention to the employees of the dog shelter or to any of the other dogs that were there in the room. The area where the dog was found is known for finding other abused dogs.

Cowboy is not going to be adopted yet but PETS INC. is accepting donations to help the dog as several dental operations will have to be done to ensure that the dog has a normal life.
