Guide dog donation box stolen from Surrey

NewsWorld Dog NewsFriday 12 August 2011

Sounds unbelievable but true, the three-foot-tall donation box benefiting the Guide Dog Services and Autism Support Dogs was stolen from Guildford Town Centre, Surrey, Canada.

The donation box was aimed to help provide guide dogs service for blind people and children suffering from autism, according to BC Local News. It was reported missing last Tuesday, 9th August. Although it is not sure how much money the stolen bin was containing, the staff took care to empty it regularly as earlier the charity had suffered from other thefts.

Anyone with information about the missing box is asked to call 604-940-4504.
