New company launches £47,000 holiday for dogs

    NewsDog CuriositiesWednesday 19 June 2013
Pampering at Harrors, Reiki masterclasses and beach side walks are all things on offer at the Paw Seasons Dog hotel group. It is a vast contrast to the dogs that spend their weeks holiday in bland kennels across the country.
The Paws Seasons Hotel has created a holiday experience that is truly unique to dogs and the perfect relaxing experience. Dogs are said to be worked by ex-athletes and their food is hand selected and prepared by personal chefs.
Dogs who visit the hotel will receive their own private suite together with a tv that shows doggy films such as Lassie and 101 Dalmatians. There will even be dog friendly popcorn. Owners will not be allowed to go on holoiday with the dogs but the staff at Paw seasons can keep them updated on what their pets are doing.
Specifics of the holiday include a surf lesson for the dog provided by Surf South West and a run along the beach with Dai Greene who is a 400m hurdle Commonwealth and World Champion. The highlight of the holiday could perhaps be a spa and grooming seassion at Harrods pet spa. Dogs will receive an aromatherapy bath, body massage and a wash and fluff dry. Pedicures come included.
Things to do come cheap in total though. The costs can shoot up to £47,000 per dog. A strong £8,400 of that will go to Battersea Dogs Home and Cancer Research.
More information on this specialist holiday can be found at The Paw Seasons website.
