    Shelter Dog Sunday - Bear

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 17 March 2017

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Bear, a sociable lad looking for a loving, forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Bear, a young interactive chap with lots of fun to give to his new family.

    Name: Bear

    Breed: Dogue de Bordeaux/Rottweiler cross

    Sex: Male

    Age: 1 year, 1 month

    Centre: London

    Reference: 355806

Bear really does have a heart of gold and in the right home will be the most loyal, loving companion.

He has lots of energy and loves running around and will need a private garden for burn offs.

He is a clever boy and knows ‘stay’, ‘sit’, ‘paw’, ‘leave’, and ‘speak’ and will benefit from more training.

Bear’s a sociable chap and loves to interact and play with other dogs and so could potentially be rehomed with an existing confident canine.

Toys are the way to this handsome dog’s heart and Bear likes to throw them in the air and catch them.

Now all he needs is a fun and interactive home!

To meet Bear, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
