    Shelter Dog Sunday - Bertie

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 16 September 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Bertie, a young lad looking for a family to share all the love he has to give!

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including including Bertie, a young Boxer looking for a forever loving home.

    Name: Bertie

    Breed: Boxer

    Sex: Male

    Age: 3 years 0 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 351937

Bouncy Bertie is a lively young lad with lots of love to give.

He adores people, loves attention, and would give anything to be charging around and playing all day long.

Bertie needs new owners who can keep up with him and give him plenty of exercise to keep him happy.

He loves his food, which is a great motivation for his training, but he will at times help himself to food that isn't his so will need to be kept an eye on!

Bertie could possibly live alongside other pets and older children.

If you think you can offer Bertie a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
