    Shelter Dog Sunday - Blake

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 11 November 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Blake, a very young lad with playful Husky personality looking for a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats a year, including Blake, a really handsome, young Husky looking for a loving forever home.

    Name: Blake

    Breed: Siberian Husky

    Sex: Male

    Age: 9 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 353289

Blake is a very handsome young boy. Do not let those icy blue eyes fool you – he’s a cheeky chap whose personality will shine right through as soon as you meet him.

Blake will prove to be a fun companion for his new owners, although it’s important they commit to continuing with his training so he has some nice manners to carry through to adulthood.

Blake loves to play with other dogs, and would enjoy having a playful canine companion of a similar size who will handle his bouncy behaviour.

He is also great with children and could live with them again.

If you would like to meet Blake, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
