    Shelter Dog Sunday - Bruno

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 19 May 2017

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Bruno, a sweet lad who loves to play fetch and will benefit from finding a forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Bruno, a young Staffie looking for a forever loving family.

    Name: Bruno

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Male

    Age: 1 year 7 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 356742

Bashful Bruno is a sweet boy who is a bit of a worried soul in need of a family to build his confidence and let his playful side shine through.

Once he has built a bond with someone, Bruno enjoys their company and having a game of fetch with one of his many favourite toys.

Bruno is looking for a forever home with a private garden to run around in.

While he enjoys the occasional play time with another dog, he would prefer to be the only canine pal in his home.

Any children in Bruno’s new home should be older teens who are respectful of his preference for constructive games rather than rough play.

To meet Bruno, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
