Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Chloe, a charming Greyhound with a happy attitude willing to share her heart with a forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Chloe, an ex-racer who only cares now about lying down for a nap. Have you got a sofa? This beauty might be interested in hearing from you!

    Name: Chloe

    Breed: Greyhound

    Sex: Female

    Age: 4 years 3 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 358055

Chloe is an ex-racer who is now looking for a more laidback lifestyle.

She is very affectionate and more than happy to meet new people. Her bouncy side also comes out whenever she gets a hint that walk time may be approaching.

Chloe will benefit from finding a home with a family who have some experience with her breed.

She would enjoy the company of older children and another sighthound.

A home with a private garden would also make Chloe very happy.

To meet Chloe, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Chloe, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
