    Shelter Dog Sunday - Cooper

NewsShelter Dog SundayThursday 05 January 2017

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Cooper, a German Shepherd-Husky cross looking for a home to call his own.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats a year, including Cooper, a sweet natured lad looking for a loving, forever home.

    Name: Cooper

    Breed: Siberian Husky

    Sex: Male

    Age: 3 years

    Centre: London

    Reference: 352696

Cooper is a sweet natured and lovely boy, with an affectionate personality. He is a German Shepherd-Husky cross and has the characteristics to prove it.

An active family with experience of these breeds would be the perfect match for this special lad.

Cooper has a good history of living with children and could do so with those over the age of eight again.

While he would benefit from having regular walking buddies to play and socialise with, Cooper would like to be the only pet in his new home. A large garden is a must for this big boy.

To meet Cooper, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
