    Shelter Dog Sunday - Dotty

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 16 June 2017

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Dotty, a gorgeous Lurcher who will be more than happy to spend her life with a forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Dotty, a young girl with a heart of gold looking for a forever loving family.

    Name: Dotty

    Breed: Lurcher

    Sex: Female

    Age: 2 years 10 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 354156

Dotty is a special girl who brightens up people's days with her happy-go-lucky attitude.

A lover of food and toys, this will provide great motivation for her continued training.

Dotty also adores water, and would relish a home where she can spend the summer days playing in her very own paddling pool.

Dotty is in need of a mature home with a secure garden for burn offs.

She would love to meet other dogs for regular playdates, but is best suited to being the only pet living in her new home.

To meet Dotty, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
