    Shelter Dog Sunday - Dozer

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 03 February 2017

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Dozer, a young lad looking for a forever family that loves him unconditionally.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Dozer, a friendly boy with a goofy personality looking for a loving, forever home.

    Name: Dozer

    Breed: Mongrel

    Sex: Male

    Age: 1 year 3 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 355183

Dozer is a high-energy youngster with an eccentric personality to match his striking looks.

While he can be shy at first, it doesn't take long for his goofy personality to burst through. Dozer really will do anything for food and new owners are sure to have lots of fun teaching him new things.

Dozer is a friendly boy who gets on well with all that he meets, although his boisterous side means he can be overwhelming for some.

For this reason, he is looking for a home with older children and without another dog at this stage. A private garden is also important for energy burn offs and training.

To meet Dozer, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
