Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Flo, a stunning girl who absolutely adores life and will bring tons of happiness to her forever family.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Flo, a grown-up lady in need of a well deserved forever family.

    Name: Flo

    Breed: Mongrel

    Sex: Female

    Age: 10 years 2 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 361494

Everyone that meets Flo finds her joie de vivre absolutely infectious.

This girl may be on in years, but she is still very active and has a lot of enthusiasm.

She enjoys playing with toys and gets on well with other dogs, showing herself to be a very sociable lady!

She does have a sensitive side however, and so will need new owners who will allow her to take things at her own pace.

Once she has made friends she is wonderful company – and will love you forever if you throw a tennis ball for her to fetch.

To meet Flo, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Flo, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
