Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Jada, a stunning Staffie who is finding kennel life hard; however she will bring tons of happiness to her forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Jada, a grown-up lady in need of a well deserved forever family.

    Name: Jada

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 9 years 6 months

    Site: London

    Reference: 357460

Jada is a gentle lady with a big heart. She finds kennel life very stressful and is desperate to find a place to call her own. Our girl is eager to swap her noisy city life for a tranquil lifestyle.

Jada is shy, but once she comes out of her shell she is a loyal companion with a lot to give.

Her new owners need experience dealing with nervous dogs and must be prepared to give Jada the time that she needs to settle.

Because of her sensitive nature, it is best for her not to live with children. But that doesn’t mean that she is boring – far from.

This lass might be approaching her retirement, but Jada is not done playing. Toys is her greatest joy and if you decided to adopt her into your family, she will no doubt change your life for the better.

To meet Jada, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
