    Shelter Dog Sunday - Lola

NewsShelter Dog SundaySunday 11 December 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Lola, an affectionate, young Staffie who is finding kennel life very stressing. She can't wait to have a home to call her own again!

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats a year, including Lola, a gorgeous Staffie looking for a loving, forever home.

    Name: Lola

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 4 years 1 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 353347

Lola is a wonderful dog who has ended up at Battersea due to no fault of her own, and has sadly found kennel life quite stressful.

She loves her human friends and builds strong bonds, enjoying nothing more than a good cuddle. She can’t wait to have a home to call her own again!

Lola is very friendly with children, although would be best suited to a household with teenagers rather than younger ones.

She would also prefer to be the only dog in the home and not have any feline friends.

If you can offer Lola the home she is looking for, she will reward you with as many beautiful Staffie smiles as you can wish for.

To meet Lola, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
