    Shelter Dog Sunday - Mollie

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 03 June 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Mollie, a lovely older girl who will make a fantastic addition to her new family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including including Mollie, a social and interactive Staffie who will be a friend for life if you offer her a forever home.

    Name: Mollie

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 8 Years 8 Months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 347139

Mollie is a lovely older girl that enjoys nothing more than a game of fetch and really comes to life when toys are around.

She is sociable and interactive, although slightly sensitive at times, so owners will need to give her a little time to settle.

Mollie enjoys her walks in the park, taking long naps by the fire and will be your best friend if you have a tennis ball.

If you think you can offer Mollie a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Mollie, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
