    Shelter Dog Sunday - Picnic

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 06 May 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Picnic, a one-year-old funny lad looking for a loving home.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including including Picnic, a clever, affectionate boy who will fit in an active family.

    Name: Picnic

    Breed: Mongrel

    Sex: Male

    Age: 1 Year 8 Months

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 344505

Picnic is a really clever, active boy who has a lot of energy to burn off!

This Mongrel loves being around people and completely melts if you massage his neck.

The one year old will need a new family who are happy to take him along on their runs and cycles to bound off his high energy levels.

Picnic is such a lovely boy with a funny personality and he’s always making us laugh with his goofy facial expressions and antics.

He has so much to offer any home looking for an energetic, affectionate dog.

If you think you can offer Picnic a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
